santralistanbul also has a strong educational focus, and through santralatölye organizes a diversity of training and education courses, workshops and school programmes designed for adults, children and young people. The principal aim of these is to elicit individual creativity and provide guidance in terms of where to head next once that creativity has surfaced. Workshops are original in content and take place at different venues around the santralistanbul complex.

Workshops with a digital focus, such as photography, video, graphic and 3D design, are held at the santralistanbul studio, a space equipped with the latest technology, including professional video/stills cameras, digital editing suites, sound and lighting gear, sets and props.

With educational programmes for schools, the objective is to develop in children and young people an enthusiasm for, and understanding of art and science, to help them connect art and life, to stimulate interest in science and elicit individual creativity.
